Best Haircare Product!

To the two lovely girls in NY whom I promised I would write this post:)

Like many of us out there, I had searched high and low for a hair product that actually WORKS! Indeed, it is hard to find! My long hair was once dry, brittle, and broken until I found…..DermOrganic.

It is hands-down the BEST product I have ever used. Since I started using it a few years ago, my hair has transformed to healthy, shiny, and manageable. It started growing again and is now long and healthy.  It has everything to do with the DermOrganic line. So, I would like to share this with all of you because I wish that I had known earlier what an amazing hair product can do:) Here you go my friends…

First, here are some of the great things about DermOrganic:

* Vegan

*No Animal Testing

*No Artificial Preservatives

*Sulfate-Free & Gluten-Free

*No Sodium Chloride, Salt, MEA, DEA or Dyes

*Paraben-Free & Propylene Glycol-Free

*pH Balanced

*Color-Safe

*Made with certified Argan Oil of Morocco

*It’s a great company–I love good companies with good people:)

Secondly, this is how you use it:

1) Wash your hair with DermOrganic Daily Conditioning Shampoo.

2)After rinsing your hair of the shampoo, apply a small amount of DermOrganic Intensive Hair Repair Masque (conditioner) onto your hair and let sit for a few minutes. The longer you leave it in, the more of an intense treatment it is, depending on how damaged your hair may be. Be sure to spread evenly and make sure it gets on your hair’s ends.

3)After a few minutes of the masque on your hair, rinse your hair and finish up your shower.

4) Towel-dry your hair and then apply a small amount of DermOrganic Leave-In Treatment Argan Oil. Spread evenly from roots to ends and then comb your hair.  The Argan Oil treatment speeds your drying time up to 30% so you can easily just let your hair air dry after this step OR you can blow dry and style.

Of course, there are many other tips and a few other products from DermOrganic that are just as fabulous so I really encourage everyone to visit their website:

It will change your life:) Enjoy your beautiful hair~

Fashionable New York

So lately the weather in New York has been so beautiful! It’s definitely springtime! A few days ago I had the chance to walk around in the beautiful sunshine and I took some photos that I would love to share with you all. The great thing about NY is that it is such a fashionable, international city. I love to put on a beautiful outfit and enjoy everything it has to offer! There are so many places to shop here and if you look for some key pieces for your wardrobe and a few different stores, you can have an outfit that will last a lifetime and still not burn a hole through your wallet…you just have to be a smart shopper and of course, take advantage of what New York City has to offer 🙂

The flagship Louis Vuitton store on 5th Avenue is always so beautiful! I put this collage to show the current window dressings and what the building is looking like today:) I am SO in love with their Spring/Summer 2012 collection! The beautiful fitted dresses and feminine ensembles are so classic. Pieces like this never go out of style.

Now the name would suggest otherwise, but the clothes inside Cheap Jacks are anything but cheap haha! This is such a hidden gem off 5th Avenue. It is located on 303 5th Avenue at the corner of 31st Street.  I never realized how many less than stellar reviews this place gets online, but I think its worth going in! Sometimes you can find some beautiful vintage dresses that are one-of-a-kind! You have to hunt a little for it and keep your eyes peeled but some amazing finds can be found 🙂

And what would a post be without mentioning a Chanel store in NYC?! I’m loving their latest collection too and the window dressings are always fun to share:) This location (1 of 3 in the city) is probably the best I think!

Chanel Boutique  15 E. 57th Street at 5th Avenue

I was also at a fashion show the other day showcasing highlights from NY Fashion Week. It was presented by Stila Cosmetics and it was beautiful! You will notice that there is a recurring theme in fashion each season–true style never changes. We can update it and tweak it a little here and there, but beautiful tailored pieces that are feminine are always around! Here are some pieces that I thought were pretty because of the metallic hues. This is to give inspiration! Just add a handbag or scarf from my boutique (wink, wink;) and you are ready to take on the world! 🙂

This includes the latest collection from Dior (I LOVE Dior!!) which is just stunning!

And lastly, a shot while I was walking in Central Park enjoying this weather:)

Boutique Update!

Hello to you all! I just want to say a very humble “Thank You” to all of you beautiful girls who have complimented me on my pink purse sample from my upcoming line! Your comments have truly made me happy and it has inspired me to work even harder to launch a boutique sometime in my future. To answer all of your questions, I will be selling this purse along with other beautiful items for all of you stylish ladies out there. It’s going to be fabulous so just hold out for a little while longer…like all good things, it is worth the wait;) I will keep you posted…

“To Catch A Thief” Style

One of my most favorite films is this one with Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. It came out in 1955 and was directed by one of my favorite directors, the brilliant Alfred Hitchcock. The styles worn by Grace Kelly in this film are so gorgeous! The breathtaking scenery isn’t bad either:) It’s a classic! All of the wardrobe in this film can be worn today and still look fabulous…It’s not hard to replicate if you choose simple, timeless pieces in the color and cut/fit that’s right for you…

Polyvore put together a beautiful ensemble for this film and I loved it so much that I thought I would share! You can find the details on these beautiful pieces and read their fabulous work here:

See? We can all score the same look today:)

My Style Icon

Lately, I have had many people tell me that I really remind them of Grace Kelly. I am not complaining. Not at all.

In fact, it is one of the best compliments, in my humble opinion!;) The late Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco and Academy Award winning actress,  has always been an icon for me–she embodies class, style, grace, and ladylike manners. She was the epitome of what we girls should aspire to. Beauty is really embracing our femininity and doing so with manners and kindness. I hope to share with all of you how we can all dress with style and refinement just like she did…

Dress to Impress Without Breaking the Bank!

In many ways, today was all about TJ Maxx for me (I met the heads of TJMaxx today!).  So I thought I would share a fabulous outfit I put together that can make any girl look and feel classy and beautiful! What I love about these finds though, is that you can have this whole outfit for under $100 bucks! The prices are amazing here. Remember, dressing beautifully doesn’t have to mean that you drain your bank account:)

For this look:

Calvin Klein dress that comes with belt  $49.99 (originally $89.99)

Pair this dress with either statement jewelery necklace $19.99 (originally $49.99) / bracelet $16.99 (originally $48.00)

OR a pair of fabulous feminine heels like these Franco Sarto pumps for only $39.99! (originally $89.00)

The main piece here is this classic dress. You can either go with the jewelry and add simple nude colored heels to complete the look OR you can use these fabulous heels to make the outfit. The key is staying with one piece and working with it to have a complete outfit.

I should also mention another reason why I love this store. Did you know that they have partnerships with some amazing charities? They are big on donating to charity, so not only are you saving money, but you are also giving back. Now that’s something to write about:)

Find your local TJ Maxx and get beautiful!

Bonjour~

After working on this for quite some time, here I am publishing my first blog! For those of you who have asked me for years now to have my own boutique, this is just the beginning of sharing my style and inspiration! I’ve been blessed with so many opportunities to live my dreams and my subsequent travels have shaped my love for all the beauty this world has to offer.

I’ll keep you posted on what inspires me and one day I’d love to offer the style and fashions I love for you to enjoy too …sit back and stay tuned…

So Welcome! Bonjour! Today is a very special day because it is my mother’s birthday….it is from her that I have gotten my fashion inspiration and her beautiful French view of life and style. She is my very best friend and a true inspiration. I hope to share that beauty with all of you:) Aside from showing me true style, I’ve learned from her that beauty is really from within. If you have beauty inside, then that fabulous outfit will only look so much better! Inner beauty is always in style.

Here’s to true beauty…enjoy.
